The first church, according to testimonies by the villagers, was the church of Archangel Michael, which was located in the centre of the old village.   

The present church of Archangel Michael is a more recent building since the reconstruction of the old church was not deemed cost-effective. The inauguration ceremony of the church was held in September 2010.
